THE KLFI Online Marketplace is an electronic ordering system that allows shoppers to purchase from a huge variety of foods grown & produced in Maine. The Online Marketplace works in cooperation with the Gardiner Farmers' Market, farm-direct vendors and Crown O' Maine Organic Cooperative.

THERE IS NO FEE TO JOIN: Instead, you will notice an "optional donation" as the first item in the product list. We have set it at $12.00 as this is the amount that the software company charges us per member per year. A very reasonable fee, we think. If you would like to donate less or more, we can adjust that at time of checkout. If you choose to make a donation, it will go toward cost of the software. Anything above the $12 will help us cover general operations and things like mileage reimbursement for our volunteer drivers. Thank you for supporting our edible economy!

MARK-UP: KLFI "marks-up" all orders. The 20% mark-up appears as a line-item in your "basket" and goes toward staffing, rent, utilities, supplies, advertising, etc- everything it takes to operate. Our vendors receive the full amount of listed prices.

HOURS: The order window will be "OPEN" for 3 days while you browse and place your orders. Then it will "CLOSE" so that we can compile the order and send it off to be filled. Your food will be ready for pick-up the following week...and then the cycle begins all over again.

ORDER WINDOW DATES: We have chosen to begin with a TWICE MONTHLY order cycle. __________________________________________
PICK-UP: You will be picking up your orders on Fridays at 339 Water Street in Gardiner-- the former Blue Sky Bakery. Thank you for working with us Sunny & Kari!

PAYMENT: You will be paying for your purchase when you PICK IT UP, not when you order. At this point we can accept CASH or CHECK.
